Senators selected for new membership are Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and John Thune of South Dakota. “We have prepared the ground with thoughtful dialogue among producers in Farm Bill field hearings this past summer and we have the Committee in excellent position to move forward in the shared interests of agriculture in America – for farmlands, rural communities, conservation, energy, nutritional needs, and the wise management of forest resources,” said Chambliss who led the Committee as Chairman in an unprecedented first term in the United States Senate.
