Republican Internships


Chairman John Boozman offers internships throughout the year in Washington, D.C. The Committee internship provides a unique opportunity for students to work closely with Senate staff, assist the Chairman as he engages with farmers, ranchers and agricultural stakeholders and experience the federal government in action.

Successful candidates will have specific interests in agriculture policy. Though no specific major or program is necessary, a good academic record is required. Preference is given to students who have completed their junior year in college and are planning to return for their senior year. Interns in Washington, D.C. carry out responsibilities such as researching legislation, attending briefings and hearings and providing support to the Committee staff.

  2. Short personal statement outlining agricultural and political issues important to you
  3. Two letters of recommendation
