1) Boyd Kevin Rutherford, of Maryland, to be an Assistant Secretary of Agriculture
(succeeding Michael J. Harrison, resigned).
2) Gale A. Buchanan, of Georgia, to be Under Secretary of Agriculture for Research, Education, and Economics (succeeding Joseph J. Jen, resigned).
3) Marc L. Kesselman, of Tennessee, to be General Counsel of the Department of Agriculture
(succeeding Nancy Southard Bryson).
4) Linda Avery Strachan, of Washington, DC, to be an Assistant Secretary of Agriculture
(succeeding Mary Kirtley Waters).
