Washington, DC – Michigan Senator Debbie Stabenow, Chairwoman of the U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry, announced the Committee will hold a hearing on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. in room 328 of the Russell Senate Office Building. The oversight hearing will focus on implementation of Title VII of the Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act and will examine its progress nearly one year after the reform was passed by Congress. Witnesses will include the Hon. Gary Gensler, Commodity Futures Trading Commission, and Dr. Michael Gibson, Federal Reserve Board.
The hearing, “One Year Later: The Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act: Implementation of Title VII,” will take place on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. EST in the Senate Agriculture Committee Hearing Room, SR-328A.
