Ranking Member Stabenow Applauds President Signing Bipartisan Reauthorization Package into Law

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow, Ranking Member of the U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry, today applauded President Obama for signing into law the Agriculture Reauthorizations Act of 2015. The Act included three bipartisan reauthorizations: Mandatory Price Reporting, the National Forest Foundation Act, and the U.S. Grain Standards Act.

“This bipartisan law ensures our nation’s farmers, foresters, and ranchers have the tools they need for success,” Ranking Member Stabenow said. “These important reauthorizations also included reforms that increase transparency in the livestock markets, maintain the integrity and boost the responsiveness of our federal grain inspection systems, and promote partnerships to revitalize the 193 million-acres in our national forest system.”
