WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Senators Pat Roberts, R-Kan., and Joni Ernst, R-Iowa, today announced a hearing on the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s rural development programs before the Senate Agriculture Subcommittee on Rural Development and Energy. Roberts serves as Chairman of the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry. Ernst serves as Chairwoman of the Subcommittee on Rural Development and Energy and will chair the hearing.
