Boozman Leads Ag Committee in Advancing Brooke Rollins Nomination to be Agriculture Secretary

WASHINGTON - U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry Chairman John Boozman (R-AR) today voted to advance the nomination of Brooke Rollins to be Secretary of Agriculture.

The nomination was favorably reported by the committee with unanimous support and now heads to the full Senate for consideration.

“Brooke Rollins is a dedicated public servant who will bring her lifelong commitment advocating for rural America to USDA. She has proven her understanding of the unique circumstances farm families face, the current challenges in rural communities and how she can improve policies to protect agriculture producers. I appreciate her willingness to serve and encourage my colleagues to quickly confirm her so USDA will be guided by her dependable leadership,” Boozman said.
